When you can’t pick up, Macy does. She books the appointment and leaves you a note on every call.

How she works

She’s not a phone menu.
She does the work.

Six things she does for you. Here’s how it looks at your business.

  1. 01

She answers the calls you miss.

Your calls go to her when you don’t pick up, when the line is busy or when your phone is off: you turn on forwarding once. She answers in your business’s name, at any hour.

  2. 02

    She calls new leads back.

Someone called and you couldn’t get back to them? Tap “Have Macy call again” in the app, and she phones them for you, picking up where the last call left off. On the calls she makes for you, when a decision is yours, she asks you in the app and waits.

  3. 03

    She explains your business.

Services, prices, hours, how to get there. She answers from what you’ve set up for her. Anything you haven’t, she writes down and passes to you.

  4. 04

    She checks your calendar, live.

While she’s on the call she sees what’s open on your calendar, and offers only times that are really free, by the rules you set.

  5. 05

She books it and sends the invite.

The appointment goes on your calendar. With Google Calendar, the customer also gets an email invite with a meeting link.

  6. 06

    And you get the note.

Who called, what they wanted, what got booked. Every call comes with a recording, a transcript and a summary, in an app that keeps all your customers in one place.

The conversations on screen are illustrations. Names and details are examples.

Hear her

Hear her before your customers do.

These are Macy’s real voices, each reading the same sentence. They aren’t a recording of a customer call.

Each one says: “Hi, this is Macy, your AI assistant. I can answer questions, book a meeting, or take a message. How can I help?”

A business in the United States gets her American accent, and a business in the United Kingdom gets her British one. You choose her voice in the app.

Control and privacy

You decide what she does.

  • Messages-only mode

She doesn’t answer questions and doesn’t book. She just takes down who called, what they wanted and how urgent it is, and passes it to you.

  • Bookings that wait for you

On Macy’s own calendar, a booking can wait for your yes: approve or decline it in the app. With Google Calendar, she books right away.

  • What she’s allowed to say

You define what she answers when you set her up, and what she must never share. For anything else, she’s set not to guess: she writes it down and passes it to you.

  • She says what she is

Her first sentence on every call says she’s an AI assistant, and that the call is recorded. That can’t be switched off.

  • Where your data lives

On Google Cloud, in the United States. Recordings are deleted after 30 days, and your calls aren’t used to train AI models.

  • Your data, your call

In the app’s Settings, under Privacy and data: export everything, erase one person’s data, choose how long conversations are kept, or delete your account.

What missed calls cost

What are your missed calls worth?

Put in three numbers of your own, and see what the calls nobody answers could be worth to you.

Calls nobody picked up, in a usual week.

A job or a customer, on average.

As a percentage, from 0 to 100.

Fill in your three numbers to see the estimate.

The app

And you see everything she did.

Every call Macy answers or makes lands in your business’s app.

  • A built-in CRM

Everyone who calls your business gets a card of their own, built from Macy’s conversations. The card holds their details, what Macy understood, every call with its recording, transcript and summary, and a “Have Macy call again” button.

The home screen shows who’s waiting on you and what happened this week: new contacts, calls, messages and meetings. Every contact has a status: new, in progress, customer or not relevant.

  • Live calls, and a chat with Macy

Listen to a call while it happens, and read the transcript as it’s written. In the chat, send Macy on a call for you, and answer her when she needs your decision.

Every call stays in the app with its recording, its transcript and its summary. Recordings are deleted after 30 days.

FAQ

What people ask before they start.

Didn’t find yours? Email us.

Does she sound like a robot?

Hear for yourself: the samples above are her real voices. She speaks natural English, and she tells every caller up front that she’s an AI assistant.

Does she have an American or a British accent?

Her accent follows your business’s country: a business in the United States gets her American accent, and a business in the United Kingdom gets her British one. You choose her voice in the app, and you can play each one first.

What happens when a customer asks something she doesn’t know?

She’s set not to guess: she writes down the question and the customer’s details, and you get back to them with an answer. Every call is recorded and transcribed, so you can check exactly what was said. You can also set her to only take messages and not answer questions at all.

Can she transfer a call to me?

Not today: she doesn’t pass a live call to you. A caller who wants to talk to you leaves a message with her, with their name, their number and what it’s about. You see it in the app and call them back, or have Macy call them back for you.

What does she do with spam and sales calls?

Her instructions cover them. A sales call or a survey gets a short, polite answer: she notes it as a message that isn’t urgent and says goodbye. A scam, or anyone asking for codes, gets a goodbye, and she ends the call. She never asks for or takes card numbers, passwords or codes.

How does she know what’s open on my calendar?

Macy is connected to a calendar: Google Calendar, or her own calendar, which you see in the app. During the call she checks what’s open within the hours you set, and offers only free times. On Macy’s calendar you can also have every booking wait for your approval. With Google Calendar, the appointment is booked right away.

We use a different calendar, or a booking tool. Does that work?

Macy books on Google Calendar or on her own calendar, which you see in the app. If your appointments live in another tool, she can be set to log booking requests, and you enter them into your tool.

Do I have to change my number?

No. Your business number stays yours, and you forward calls from it to Macy’s number: when you don’t answer, when the line is busy, or when your phone is off. The app gives you the codes to dial on your mobile, and the one that turns forwarding off.

Does she get a local number?

Yes. In the app you request a local US number for her, by area code or by city and state, and a person on our team reviews the request. Your own number stays yours: you forward calls to hers.

Does she answer on WhatsApp too?

Not yet: WhatsApp is coming soon. Today Macy answers your phone, and every call lands in your app.

How is my data protected?

Every call is kept in your app with its recording, its transcript and a summary. Recordings are deleted after 30 days, and conversation records are kept for the period you choose. The data is stored and processed in the United States, on Google Cloud, and your calls aren’t used to train AI models. In the app’s Settings, under Privacy and data, you can export everything, erase one person’s data or delete your account. The Privacy Policy has the details.

How do I cancel?

Turn off forwarding on your phone, and your calls stop going to her. To leave for good, delete your account in the app’s Settings, under Privacy and data, or write to us at hello@meetmacy.com. What’s stored for your business is then deleted, as the Privacy Policy describes. You can export a copy first.

How do I get started?

Create an account in the app, with your Google account or with an email and a password. A short setup asks about your business, and has you choose a phone number for Macy and your monthly call minutes. A person on our team checks both requests before they go live, so she’s ready on day one. Then you forward your calls to her number, and she starts answering.

Who is it for?

Any business where the phone is the business: clinics and practices, auto shops, real estate, salons and spas, law and accounting firms, contractors and remodelers, and business services.

Your phone keeps ringing.
Let Macy pick up.

Create your account, set her up for your business and request her number. Once your account is active, she starts answering.
